We are looking for a motivated and experienced Naval Architect with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in ship design, structural analysis, or related marine engineering projects. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, analysis, and assessment of various vessels and offshore structures.
Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Naval Architect with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in ship design, structural analysis, and marine consultancy projects. This is a work-from-home role, ideally suited for a Mumbai-based candidate who is self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of managing projects independently while collaborating remotely with the wider team. Key Responsibilities: Perform design calculations, structural analysis, and stability assessments. Review and develop technical drawings, plans, and specifications. Support ongoing projects related to new-build, retrofits, repairs, and compliance. Conduct remote and on-site inspections when necessary. Prepare technical reports, client presentations, and documentation. Liaise with classification societies, ship owners, and shipyards as needed. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
As a motivated and detail-oriented HazMat Expert joining our IHM team, you will utilize your hands-on experience in IHM maintenance, data collection, and technical report preparation to ensure our clients" vessels remain compliant with IMO HKC and EU Ship Recycling Regulations. Your responsibilities will include conducting onboard surveys for hazardous materials in alignment with IHM Part I requirements, performing IHM maintenance tasks such as document updates and supplier data reviews, collecting and analyzing Material Declarations (MD) and Supplier Declarations of Conformity (SDoC), preparing and updating IHM reports for client vessels, coordinating with shipowners, managers, and suppliers for data gathering, and ensuring timely delivery of reports while complying with relevant regulations. To excel in this role, you must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in hazardous materials management, preferably in the maritime industry. Additionally, you should be familiar with IHM regulations (IMO MEPC.269(68), EU SRR), possess knowledge of relevant materials, ship structures, and documentation standards, exhibit strong reporting, communication, and organizational skills, demonstrate proficiency in MS Office, and be willing to travel for onboard surveys if required.,
