About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and result-oriented Shopify Website Manager who can independently manage our e-commerce website, improve its search engine visibility, and drive organic traffic.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Shopify, strong knowledge of SEO, and a good understanding of emerging search optimization techniques, including AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization).

Key Responsibilities1. Shopify Website Management

• Independently manage and maintain our Shopify website.
• Upload and manage products, descriptions, images, collections, and categories.
• Optimize product pages and collection pages.
• Manage website content, navigation, menus, and basic theme customizations.
• Monitor website performance and ensure a smooth user experience.

2. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

• Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.
• Implement on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies.
• Optimize meta titles, descriptions, URLs, headings, and image alt texts.
• Improve website structure, internal linking, and page indexing.
• Work on website speed and mobile optimization.
• Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, and search performance.

3. AEO & GEO Optimization

• Optimize website content for AI-powered search engines and answer engines.
• Improve brand visibility on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews.
• Implement structured data, schema markup, and FAQ optimization.
• Focus on conversational keywords and search intent.
• Build topical authority and improve brand discoverability across AI-powered search platforms.

4. Analytics & Performance Tracking

• Monitor website performance using Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console.
• Track organic traffic, keyword rankings, impressions, clicks, and conversions.
• Prepare regular performance reports.
• Identify issues and recommend actionable improvements.

Skills & Requirements

• Hands-on experience managing Shopify websites.
• Strong understanding of SEO and e-commerce SEO.
• Knowledge of AEO and GEO.
• Good understanding of keyword research and competitor analysis.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console.
• Experience with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest, or similar tools.
• Understanding of schema markup and structured data.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Shopify themes is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of website management.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in Shopify website management and SEO.
• Previous experience managing an e-commerce or D2C website.
• Proven SEO results or case studies.
• Experience improving organic traffic and keyword rankings for Shopify stores.
• Practical understanding of AI search optimization.
