Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role in Ahmedabad for a Business Development Executive The role requires high-ownership BD leadership to drive end-to-end business acquisition for full-stack software development projects — not limited to individual services like digital marketing or UI/UX. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Identifying and converting new business opportunities for custom software, mobile apps, SaaS MVPs, enterprise platforms, and technology integrations. Setting up and scaling Shivantix’s presence on platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, ToPtal, PeoplePerHour, Fiverr Pro, etc. Building a predictable lead engine using inbound, outbound, and partnership channels. Managing the sales cycle from discovery → scoping → proposal → negotiation → closure. Collaborating with UI/UX, engineering, and project teams to create tailored solutions for clients. Driving sustainable revenue, maintaining strong client relationships, and contributing directly to growth strategy. This role requires a proactive, tech-aware business developer who understands how full-stack products are designed, built, deployed, and scaled. Key Responsibilities Build and execute a sales pipeline specifically for **custom full-stack development, SaaS platforms, mobile apps, dashboards, and enterprise digital solutions**. Set up, optimize, and grow **Upwork, Total, and other freelancing marketplace accounts** for consistent deal flow. Prepare proposals, pitch decks, work breakdown structures (WBS), and project scoping documents with internal teams. Conduct discovery calls and requirements gathering with clients to understand product, technical, and business needs. Achieve monthly/quarterly revenue targets through both inbound and outbound sales efforts. Maintain CRM hygiene and track leads, follow-ups, closures, and pipeline forecasting. Collaborate with UI/UX and development teams for estimation, solutioning, and delivery alignment. Build and manage long-term relationships with domestic and international clients. Conduct market and competitor research to identify new opportunities across industries. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in Business Development, preferably in IT services, SaaS, product development, or technology consulting. Proven ability in new business development, lead generation, and consultative solution selling. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), cloud systems, SaaS models, APIs, and modern engineering stacks. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Experience managing client accounts and driving customer satisfaction. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
