1. As we pioneer the adoption of this superior technology in the South Indian construction market, we are seeking a senior technical expert to lead our market-making efforts, build foundational trust, and serve as the principal engineering authority for our clients and partners. 2. Position Summary The Senior Structural Engineer is the principal technical leader for our commercial team. This role is mission-critical for the company, as the role provides rigorous engineering validation while managing technical liability, and ensuring flawless project execution. You will be the primary technical interface between Shinestar FGC, our empanelled dealers, structural consultants, architects, and on-site contractors. Your objective is to build the technical case for specifying our products. 3. Key Responsibilities A. Technical Validation Serve as the primary product technical expert in all high-level client and structural consultant meetings. Review client structural drawings and recommend areas for substitution with GFRP Review and, where appropriate, co-sign structural drawings for GFRP components Design, commission, and oversee all third-party validation and lab testing (e.g., with PSG Tech, CIT, etc.) to provide clients with independent, empirical data. B. Project Execution & On-Site Support Translate structural drawings into precise pre-fabrication schedules for our production team. Provide, on-site training and certification for contractors before their first installation. Act as the on-site quality and technical authority during critical project phases (e.g., rebar installation, concrete pours) for all pilot projects. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during project execution. C. Market Education & Stakeholder Engagement Develop and deliver authoritative technical presentations and "Lunch & Learn" seminars for structural engineering firms Host and lead technical demonstrations and "Field Day" events at live pilot project sites. Serve as the highest-tier technical support specialist for our key dealer network, assisting them in closing complex, high-value accounts. Address engineer meetings with technical explanations for the product D. Technical Collateral Development Author and co-author detailed, professional technical case studies and white papers based on successful pilot projects. Develop and maintain the our official library of technical data sheets, test reports, insurance certificates, and design guides. 4. Candidate Profile Required Qualifications & Experience: Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering (Mandatory). Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in structural design, construction project management, or as a senior site engineer. Technical Acumen: Deep knowledge of structural design principles, concrete technology, and Indian Standard (IS) codes. Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD Pro, ETABS). Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to present complex engineering concepts with clarity and authority to senior stakeholders. Language: Fluency in English and Tamil is essential. Preferred (Highly Desirable): Education: M.E. / M.Tech in Structural Engineering. Licensure: Possession of a valid professional engineering license/stamp. Familiarity with GFRP, BIS 18256:2023 and ACI 440 (the leading international code for GFRP) is a significant advantage. 5.
