In this role, you will be responsible for producing timely, accurate, and engaging news articles with a focus on sports. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented researcher with a genuine enthusiasm for both writing and sports, especially American sports. Key Responsibilities Produce timely and accurate breaking news articles focused on sports, maintaining depth and quality. Track live sports events, team developments, and trending topics to stay ahead in reporting. Work closely with the editorial team to deliver high-quality content tailored for sports fans. Develop innovative content ideas to captivate a global audience. Adhere strictly to journalistic principles, ensuring accuracy, ethics, and impartiality in all reporting. Required Qualifications Strong command of English with excellent writing and editing abilities. Detail-oriented researcher capable of constructing clear and compelling narratives. Comfortable working under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment. Minimum of one year's experience in news writing, preferably with a focus on sports. Genuine enthusiasm for writing and/or sports. Experience with content management systems like WordPress is advantageous. Work Arrangements Location: Willingness to work remotely from any location. Work Schedule: Availability for a six-day workweek, nine-hour shifts aligned with US time zones (early morning/evening IST).
