Job Description

Equipment Maintenance: Inspect, maintain, and repair various types of machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure they are in good working condition This may involve conducting routine checks, troubleshooting issues, and performing preventive maintenance tasks Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems in equipment Use technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to identify the root cause of issues and implement effective solutions Repairs and Replacements: Perform necessary repairs on faulty equipment components or systems Replace worn-out or damaged parts, and ensure proper calibration and alignment to restore functionality Emergency Response: Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergencies during the shift, working quickly to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections Update equipment logs, work orders, and maintenance databases Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations while performing maintenance tasks Identify potential safety hazards and take appropriate measures to address them Collaboration: Coordinate with other team members, including engineers, technicians, and supervisors, to ensure smooth communication and workflow across shifts Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance equipment performance, efficiency, and reliability Propose and implement improvements to maintenance processes and procedures Shift Handover: Provide clear and detailed shift handover reports to ensure the incoming shift is well-informed about the status of ongoing maintenance tasks and any issues that need attention
