Volunteer Opportunity: Events & Operations Coordinator (APAC Timezone) Role Type: Volunteer (Remote) Location: APAC Timezone (You’ll be supporting our vibrant chapters across Asia and Europe, so we’re looking for someone who can stay responsive to emails and requests during shared daytime hours.) Commitment: 4–6 hours per week About She Loves Data She Loves Data is a global non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women with data and digital skills. Through education, mentorship, and community-driven initiatives, we help women build confidence and careers in data and technology. About the Role We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Events & Operations Coordinator to support our global chapters in delivering seamless community events — both virtual and in-person. This role combines event coordination, operations support, and light technical administration , ensuring that every She Loves Data event runs smoothly and delivers impact. You’ll collaborate closely with our Marketing, Tech, and Chapter Leads across the region. Key Responsibilities Coordinate with Chapter Leads to plan and execute upcoming events (virtual/in-person). Set up and manage events on Eventbrite and Zoom (webinar scheduling, access control, branding). Liaise with the Marketing Team for timely event promotion and visibility. Track event logistics, timelines, and post-event deliverables. Manage Classmarker assessments and issue certificates to participants. Ensure accurate attendee communications (links, reminders, and follow-ups). Provide technical and administrative support during live events. Maintain consistency in event setup, branding, and participant experience. What We’re Looking For Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and contribute in a dynamic volunteer environment. Strong attention to detail, communication, and time management. Familiarity with tools such as Google Workspace, Eventbrite, Zoom, and Classmarker (training can be provided). Ability to troubleshoot basic tech issues independently. Passion for She Loves Data’s mission and supporting community growth. Commitment of approximately 4–6 hours per week (flexible schedule).
