Job Description SharePoint Developer Part-time Role SharePoint Developer Focus Building and supporting SharePoint Online sites, solutions and Microsoft 365 integrations for clients Experience 3+ years in SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 development Commitment Part-time, about 20 hours per week, with some overlap with client business hours Location Remote Role Summary Were hiring a part-time SharePoint Developer to build and look after SharePoint Online intranets, team sites and document solutions for our clients, along with the Power Platform and Teams pieces that connect to them. Youll take requests from client and Idaya teams, design sites and solutions that people actually use, and keep permissions, content and automations tidy and secure. This is a hands-on, flexible-hours role for an experienced developer who can work independently and deliver on agreed timelines. What Youll Do Build sites and intranets. Design and build SharePoint Online communication sites, team sites and hub sites with clear navigation, page layouts and on-brand look and feel. Structure content. Set up lists, libraries, content types, site columns, metadata and views so documents are easy to find and manage. Develop custom solutions. Build SharePoint Framework (SPFx) web parts and extensions with TypeScript and React when out-of-the-box features fall short. Automate processes. Create approval flows and business processes with Power Automate, and build Power Apps forms and apps on top of SharePoint lists. Integrate Microsoft 365. Connect SharePoint with Teams, OneDrive, Outlook and other systems through Microsoft Graph and REST APIs. Manage permissions and governance. Set up groups, permissions, sharing settings, retention and sensitivity labels, and help clients follow governance standards. Migrate content. Plan and run migrations from file shares, on-premises SharePoint or other platforms, using tools such as the SharePoint Migration Tool or ShareGate. Idaya.ai 2026 Page 1

Support clients. Turn requests into scoped tasks, give realistic estimates, fix issues, and show site owners how to manage their own content. Document your work. Keep notes on site structures, customizations and flows so others can support them. What You Bring 3+ years building on SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365, with examples of sites or solutions youve delivered. Hands-on SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development with TypeScript, React, HTML and CSS. Experience with Power Automate and Power Apps built on SharePoint data. Working knowledge of Microsoft Graph, SharePoint REST APIs and PnP PowerShell or PnPjs. Solid understanding of SharePoint permissions, information architecture and content types. Experience with content migration to SharePoint Online. Reliable, self-managed working style with clear written communication for remote work. Nice to Have Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft 365 Developer Associate or Power Platform Developer. Experience with Microsoft Purview retention, sensitivity labels or compliance features. Teams app development or Viva Connections experience. Familiarity with Azure Functions or Logic Apps for back-end automation. Experience working with agencies or multiple clients at once.
