Job Profile: Electrical Design Engineer. Qualification: Diploma / Graduate Engineer. Past Job profile: Must be working in Electrical Design office (Industrial) / Power Plant Electrical Design Engineering. Experience: 10-15 years. Software Knowledge: AutoCAD, Windows 10, MS Word, Electrical Software . Expected Salary: between 45K to 55K. Job Requirement: 1. Should be able to prepare SLD for electrical system (CAD based) 2. Preparation of tender specification based on SLD, 3. Review of TG & Boiler electrical documents including alternator, cable schedule, Turbine related documents etc, 4. Sizing calculation for major electrical equipment like, HT/LT Cables + Motors + Bus bar + Earthing system + Lighting system + Panel internal component sizing, 5. Earth Grid Layout preparation + Earth mat for building, 6. 33/11kV Switch yard layout + earth mat + Plan & elevation, 7. Cable tray layout & routing within building and over steel rack, 8. Review and approval of Electrical panel GA + Logic + Wiring diagram + SLD submitted by Panel builder, 9. Short-circuit & fault calculation for system in power plant, 10. Preparation of Tender specification/sizing of major electrical equipment such as a. Power / Auxiliary transformer, b. Switchyard comprising of MGR + CT + PR + VCB + Isolator + Earthing + Illumination + Battery & Battery charger for VCB operation, c. PCC & MCC panel, d. Illumination Layout, e. Cable Layout with Cable Tray routing, f. Earth pit (calculation based on soil resistivity test) and g. Earth mat calculation.
