Role Overview: As the Technical Manager - Raw Material at SgT Group, you will play a crucial role as a senior expert in quality control, SOP development, and auditing for raw materials. Your responsibilities will involve overseeing the inspection process, ensuring technical consistency, and collaborating with external partners to ensure global quality compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and optimize the full inspection process for textiles, leather, synthetics, and fibers. - Define, monitor, and control material quality parameters such as GSM, strength, color, etc. - Validate inspection reports and ensure consistency and accuracy in defect classification and scoring. - Develop, harmonize, and maintain internal SOPs based on customer requirements. - Create technical audit checklists and oversee updates to raw material inspection procedures. - Conduct audits of mills and suppliers to assess compliance with ISO 9001 and sustainability certifications. - Design and deliver technical training for inspectors and auditors. - Troubleshoot and support customer queries regarding raw material technical issues. - Ensure compliance with global standards such as REACH, CPSIA, and OEKO-TEX. - Partner with the Finished Product team to maintain high standards throughout the supply chain. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors/Masters in Textile Engineering/Technology. - 12-15 years of experience in raw material QA, inspection, or technical auditing for global brands/service providers. - Strong expertise in technical standards, SOP creation, and audit frameworks. - Excellent communication, report writing, and analytical skills. - Proficiency in digital reporting tools, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and learning platforms. - Willingness to travel frequently for audits and training worldwide.,
