Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and trustworthy Accountant to manage the financial and accounting operations of our School and Child Care Institution (CCI). The role involves maintaining accounts in Tally, handling salary for teachers and staff, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements such as TDS and PF, in line with NGO and CCI regulations. Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Financial Management Maintain complete and accurate accounts for School, NGO, and CCI separately Handle day-to-day accounting entries in Tally Maintain cash book, bank book, ledger accounts, and vouchers Perform bank reconciliation and monitor cash flow Prepare monthly and annual financial statements Salary & Payroll Management Process monthly salary for teachers, caretakers, and staff Maintain payroll records, attendance, and statutory deductions Prepare and distribute salary slips Maintain staff salary registers as required for audit and CCI inspection Statutory & Legal Compliance Deduct, deposit, and file TDS returns on time Manage PF registration, calculation, monthly filing, and compliance Ensure compliance with NGO regulations, CCI norms, and government guidelines Maintain records required for inspections by Child Welfare Committee (CWC) and other authorities Audit & Reporting Assist in internal and external audits Prepare financial reports required for: Government departments Donors and funding agencies CCI inspections Maintain proper documentation for grants, donations, and utilization certificates Coordination & Record Keeping Coordinate with auditors, banks, and government offices Maintain organized financial records and files Support management with financial data and reporting Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance Experience in Tally Knowledge of NGO accounting, payroll, TDS, and PF Familiarity with school and CCI financial procedures Strong accuracy, integrity, and organizational skills Experience: 2–4 years of accounting experience Prior experience in School / NGO / Trust / CCI will be an advantage Job Type: Full-time Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
