Service engineer for mechanical or optical machines

As a Service Engineer at Schmoll Maschinen GmbH, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of mechanical or optical machines for our customers in the PCB Electronic industry. Your responsibilities will include installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and providing technical support for these specialized machines. With a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction, you will be required to travel up to 70% per year to various customer sites in India. Key Responsibilities: - Perform installations, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical or optical machines - Conduct field service visits to customer sites for troubleshooting and technical support - Provide application support to ensure optimal machine performance - Independently handle complex technical issues to ensure machines operate efficiently Qualifications: - Field service and maintenance & repair experience - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers - Proficient in troubleshooting and providing technical support - A technical degree or relevant certification in mechatronics and electrical engineering (optical engineering degree for optical engineer role) - Experience in the electronics or manufacturing industry is advantageous - Programming skills would be beneficial - Ability to work independently and resolve technical issues promptly - Proficiency in English and Hindi; knowledge of Tamil language is a plus - Possession of a valid driving license (Note: Company Description section omitted as it did not contain any additional company details),
