About the job ​Role: ​PCB CAM Engineer. JOB OVERVIEW ​S​epic Technologies is seeking an experienced PCB CAM Engineer to join our ​D​esign team. The PCB CAM Engineer will be responsible for converting PCB designs into manufacturing-ready files, ensuring that all design requirements are met to resolve any design or production issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PCB manufacturing processes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ​• Generate CAM files (Gerber, ODB++, and NC) for manufacturing processes. ​• DFM: Perform DFM checks to ensure the PCB design is optimized for manufacturing and meets production standards. Process Optimization: Continuously analyze and improve CAM​ processes, reducing errors, enhancing efficiency, and improving overall production timelines. Documentation: Create and maintain documentation of all CAM processes, as well as manufacturing guidelines and standards. Quality Control: Ensure that the final manufacturing files are accurate, high-quality, and meet all customer specifications. ​• Software Proficiency: ​Cam350, GC prevue or any equivalent tools. REQUIRED SKILLS ​1-​3 years of hands-on experience in PCB CAM. ​• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and PCB Gerber files ​• Knowledge of DRC guidelines and best practices. ​• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex ​• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
