Role Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented SEO Specialist to join our team in Mumbai. In this role, you will plan and execute SEO strategies for multiple client websites, work closely with content and technical teams, and consistently optimize performance to improve search engine visibility and rankings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth SEO audits and analysis for websites, blogs, and landing pages
• Provide actionable recommendations on website structure, content, and on-page optimization
• Plan and execute effective link-building strategies
• Optimize technical SEO elements such as metadata, robots.txt, .htaccess, schema, and site speed
• Implement local SEO and long-tail keyword strategies
• Monitor performance using analytics tools and dashboards
• Work closely with content teams to align SEO goals with content strategies
• Use Google tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and Keyword Planner
• Test and optimize website performance using tools like Google PageSpeed Insights, GTMetrix, and Pingdom
• Prepare detailed SEO reports, audits, and performance summaries for clients
• Participate in client calls and meetings to explain SEO strategies and results
• Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and mobile SEO practices including AMP

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Up to 2 years of SEO experience, preferably in a digital marketing or SEO agency
• Strong working knowledge of WordPress CMS and Yoast SEO plugin
• Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, BuzzSumo, SimilarWeb, and KWFinder
• Solid understanding of technical SEO, including site speed optimization and structured data
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and target-driven
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with internal teams
