About the Role

The Smart Move Group is looking for an experienced SEO & Digital Marketing Manager to lead digital growth across three platforms: The SmartMove2UK, Conroy Baker, and PRISM Brain Map India. The role will own SEO, paid search, content and organic strategy, AI/answer-engine visibility, and social media growth while leading the existing digital marketing team. The goal is to increase website traffic, improve search visibility, generate qualified leads, and grow each brand’s digital presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and coordinate the digital marketing team across all three platforms; assign priorities, review work, and support team development.
• Translate direction from the line manager into clear execution plans, quarterly roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
• Own technical, on-page, and off-page SEO, including site audits, site health, speed, crawlability, keyword research, content gaps, internal linking, schema, and backlink growth.
• Improve visibility in generative AI and answer engines through GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation).
• Plan, launch, and optimise Google Ads campaigns across Search, Display, Performance Max, and lead generation; manage budgets, bidding, and conversion tracking.
• Improve landing pages and conversion rates to increase lead quality and return on investment.
• Grow organic content and social presence across relevant channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, and Instagram.
• Coordinate with content, design, development, and leadership teams; brief and manage external agencies, vendors, and freelancers when required.
• Track performance using GA4, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager; prepare weekly and monthly reports and dashboards for leadership.
• Use performance data to refine strategy, allocate effort, and report progress against agreed targets.

Required Skills and Experience

• 8+ years of experience in SEO and digital marketing, including at least 3 years leading a team or managing direct reports.
• Demonstrated results in growing organic traffic, keyword rankings, and qualified leads across multiple websites or brands.
• Strong technical SEO knowledge, including site architecture, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and schema markup.
• Hands-on Google Ads experience across Search, Display, and Performance Max, including budget and conversion-tracking ownership.
• Practical GEO/AEO experience and familiarity with visibility across AI and answer engines such as AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity.
• Proficiency with GA4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and SEO tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, or similar.
• Experience managing WordPress websites, ideally with Avada/page builders and Rank Math or Yoast.
• Strong analytical, planning, reporting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage priorities across multiple brands and audiences and to evaluate in-house versus outsourced work.

Preferred (Additional Advantage)

• Experience in immigration, legal, professional services, or another regulated/advice-led industry.
• Experience marketing to India/Asia as well as Western markets such as the UK, Europe, and the US.
• Experience with AI-assisted SEO/content workflows, CRM and marketing automation, lead routing, and conversion-funnel optimisation.
• Experience with video, YouTube, web stories, online reputation management, or Google Business Profile optimisation.
• A relevant degree and recognised digital marketing certifications, such as Google certifications.

Tools and Platforms

GA4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Rank Math/Yoast, WordPress with Avada, CRM and marketing-automation tools, email tools, Canva, and AI assistants for SEO and content. Familiarity with most tools is expected; training will be provided on the group-specific stack.

How Success Will Be Measured

• Growth in organic traffic and website visits across all three platforms.
• Improved keyword rankings and visibility in search, AI, and answer engines.
• More qualified leads and a lower cost per lead from organic and paid channels.
• Growth in social reach, followers, and engagement.
• A well-managed digital team delivering against agreed roadmaps.
• Clear and reliable reporting that supports leadership decisions.

Specific targets and timelines will be agreed with the successful candidate during onboarding.
