The Regional Manager will be responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive regional strategy to drive business growth, build a strong local presence, and lead a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Kerala market, particularly in flavors and fragrances. A proven track record of exceeding sales targets and extensive experience in B2B (business-to-business) sales are essential. This role requires a leader with strong business acumen and the ability to forge and maintain key relationships with clients, positioning Sensorisch as the preferred partner in the region. Key Responsibilities: Regional Strategy and Business Development: Develop and implement a tailored business and sales strategy for the Kerala region, aligning with the company's overall objectives. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with key clients in the flavor and fragrance-consuming industries (e.g., food & beverage manufacturers, bakery, confectionery, dairy, hospitality and nutraceutical sectors) Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior in Kerala to identify growth opportunities and refine the go-to-market strategy. Manage and grow the customer base, ensuring strong, long-term relationships with key accounts and stakeholders. Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a regional sales and support team to achieve and surpass sales quotas and key performance indicators (KPIs). Recruit, train, and onboard new team members, fostering a culture of high performance and professional development. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Operational and Financial Oversight: Manage the regional P&L (Profit and Loss) by controlling budgets, optimizing expenses, and maximizing revenue. Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, reports, and regional performance reviews to senior management. Oversee day-to-day operations in the region, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards. Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for high-value clients and distributors in the region, resolving issues and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Collaborate with the R&D, marketing, and technical teams to introduce new products and custom solutions that cater to the specific needs of the market. Represent Sensorisch at regional trade shows, industry events, and client meetings. Required Skills and Qualification : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus. Proven experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager, or a similar leadership role, with a strong track record of sales success in Kerala. In-depth knowledge of the B2B market. Exceptional leadership, team-building, and negotiation skills. Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and sales forecasting. Excellent communication skills in both English and Malayalam, as effective communication with local clients and stakeholders is crucial. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
