Senior UX/UI Designer

This role suits someone who enjoys owning their work end to end, can explain design decisions in plain language, and is curious about how people work with AI. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and business teams, and you will help raise the quality of design across the team.

What you will do at EvoluteIQ:

• Own the full design process

  : take features from research and problem framing through wireframes, prototypes, and final UI ready for development.

• Design for AI:

  create experiences where users work alongside AI (for example, agents, assistants, and automated workflows), making AI behaviour clear, trustworthy, and easy to control.

• Work with clients:

  join client workshops and discovery sessions, understand their business goals and users, and present design ideas and recommendations with confidence.

• Understand users:

  plan and run user interviews, usability tests, and quick reviews, and turn what you learn into clear design decisions.

• Build clean UI:

  produce high-quality visual designs that follow and extend our design system, with attention to layout, typography, spacing, and accessibility.

• Contribute to the design system:

  add and improve components, patterns, and guidelines so the team can design faster and more consistently.

• Partner with engineering:

  share clear specs and handoffs, answer questions during build, and review what gets built to make sure it matches the design.

• Prototype and test ideas quickly:

  use interactive prototypes (and AI design tools where useful) to explore options and get early feedback.

What will you bring to the team?

• Experience:

  at least 5 years as a product, UX, or UI designer working on digital products (web apps, SaaS, or enterprise software).

• AI product experience

  : has designed for at least one AI-native or AI-powered product, such as chat or agent interfaces, AI assistants, or smart automation.
• Client consulting: has worked directly with clients or external stakeholders, including running workshops, gathering requirements, and presenting work.

• Strong UX/UI skills:

  spanning user research, user flows, wireframing, information architecture, usability testing, visual design, typography, color theory and responsive design for desktop and mobile

• Tools:

  expert in Figma, including components, auto layout, variables, and prototyping.

• Design systems:

  experience using and contributing to a design system.

• Accessibility:

  working knowledge of accessibility basics (WCAG) and how to apply them.

Preferred Attributes:

• Enterprise experience: has designed complex products such as workflow tools, business automation, low-code or no-code platforms, or dashboards.
• AI tool fluency: uses AI tools in their own design work (for research synthesis, prototyping, or content) and has a view on what works well.
• Mindset: curious, self-driven, comfortable with ambiguity, and keen to learn as AI products evolve.
