Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Test Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications by designing, executing, and automating test cases. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to identify defects, improve software quality, and ensure smooth deployments. Must have Skills : Manual Testing, Automation testing , Selenium, TestNG, API Testing, Postman, Rest Assured, scripting languages, Database Testing Good to have Skills : Cloud testing environments , security testing tools, DevOps, Key Responsibilities: Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases. Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing. Design and implement test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or Cypress. Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar tools. Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve defects. Conduct API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI. Ensure software quality through test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD) approaches. Develop and execute performance and load testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments. Ensure compliance with security and quality assurance standards. Required Skills and Qualifications: 4 to 8 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies. Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Playwright). Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI). Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner). Experience in working with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests. Knowledge of SQL and database testing. Proficiency in scripting languages such as C#, Java, or JavaScript. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
