JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities : Analyze BRD, FRD, user stories and functional requirements. Prepare detailed test scenarios, test cases and test data. Execute Functional, Integration, System, Regression, Sanity and End-to-End testing. Perform testing of Wealth Management System workflows and interfaces. Log and track defects using JIRA / Azure DevOps / ALM or similar tools. Perform defect retesting and regression testing after fixes. Validate frontend, backend and database transactions. Perform SQL/database validation wherever required. Validate APIs and integrations using tools such as Postman or SoapUI. Maintain test execution evidence and testing documentation. Participate in defect triage/discussion with developers, BAs and business teams. Support SIT and UAT execution. Provide daily testing progress and defect-status updates. The internal testing material similarly describes Test Engineer activities around test case design, execution, defect recording, retesting, maintaining test results, and daily reporting. Wealth Management Domain Knowledge Candidates should preferably have hands-on testing exposure to: Customer / Investor onboarding Customer risk profiling Investment suitability Portfolio management Portfolio holdings and valuation Asset allocation Investment order processing Mutual Funds Equities Bonds / Fixed Income ETFs or other investment products Purchase / Buy transactions Redemption / Sell transactions Switch transactions Fees and charges Corporate actions Portfolio statements and investment reporting Relationship Manager / Investment Advisor workflows Wealth platform integration with Core Banking and other systems Mandatory Skills 3–6 years of Software Testing experience Good experience in the Banking domain Hands-on Wealth Management System (WMS) testing experience Strong Manual / Functional Testing skills Test scenario and test case preparation SIT and Integration Testing End-to-End Testing Regression and Sanity Testing Defect lifecycle management
