About Department Credit Card BSG provides technical solutions to various Credit Card Business requirements. The team liaises with Business team to understand the requirements & provides efficient solution for the same. BSG works closely with Technology team to deliver quality projects within the desired timeframe. About the Role · Ensure quality delivery of Credit Card projects through functional, integration and API testing · Validate end-to-end card journeys from onboarding to transaction, settlement and statement · Work closely with BSG, IT and vendor teams during SIT / UAT cycles · Test management and defect governance Key Responsibilities · Understand functional requirements / BRDs and prepare test scenarios, test cases and test data with the BSG team · Test card embossing and issuance flows: embossing file generation, personalisation data, new issuance, renewal and replacement · Test transactions end-to-end: authorization for POS / ECOM / ATM, domestic & international, EMI conversion, clearing and settlement · Validate reversals, partial reversals, refunds and chargebacks, and their impact on balances, statements and GL · Test front-end applications (web / mobile onboarding journeys, servicing and CRM screens) for functional and UI behaviour · Perform API testing (REST / SOAP) using Postman / SoapUI, covering positive, negative and boundary scenarios · Validate backend data in card management system databases using SQL · Manage test cases, execution and defects in JIRA and Zephyr; ensure evidence / artifacts (screenshots, logs) are in place · Execute regression testing and support automation of repeatable test cases · Share daily test status, defect and test closure reports; support Go-live and production validation
