Senior Staff Engineer Design

Your role Key responsibilities in your new role

• 
  Develop and execute verification plans for WLAN MAC digital designs and subsystems.
• Build, enhance, and maintain SystemVerilog/UVM based verification environments and testbenches.
• Create test plans, test cases, verification scenarios, and verification documentation.
• Develop and integrate Verification IPs (VIPs) for protocols such as AMBA (AXI/AHB/APB) and PCIe.
• Drive functional, code, assertion, and coverage closure activities.
• Run regressions, debug simulation failures, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Conduct CDC/RDC verification and support gate-level simulation and sign-off activities.
• Collaborate closely with design, architecture, and software teams to ensure robust verification coverage.
• Present verification results, quality metrics, and technical reports to stakeholders.
• Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications and verification completeness.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on verification methodologies and best practices.

Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• 
  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in digital design verification, preferably in wireless communication products.
• Strong hands-on expertise in System Verilog, UVM, and coverage-driven verification methodologies.
• Proven experience in WLAN MAC verification and understanding of IEEE 802.11 standards (11n/ac/ax/be).
• Strong knowledge of AMBA protocols, PCIe, and other high-speed interfaces.
• Experience with industry-standard EDA tools from Synopsys, Cadence, or Siemens EDA.
• Good understanding of CDC/RDC analysis, assertion-based verification, and regression management.
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently, drive projects, and mentor junior engineers.
