Senior Specialist, Data Security & Governance

Purpose of the Role:

As a Senior Specialist in Data Security & Governance, you will operate across both the pre-sales and delivery sides of our data security practice, acting as the senior technical authority on Microsoft Purview and Varonis engagements. You will lead the technical discovery, solution design, and commercial shaping of new data security opportunities — running workshops, scoping assessments, building proposals and statements of work, and presenting solutions credibly to both technical and executive audiences.

Role and Responsibilities:

Pre-Sales and Solution Design (Primary Focus):

Act as the lead technical resource on data security and governance opportunities.

Run customer discovery sessions, technical workshops, and whiteboarding engagements.

Design and present solution architectures across Microsoft Purview and Varonis.

Produce scoping documents and technical proposals.

Lead technical responses to RFIs and RFPs.

Deliver product demonstrations and proofs of concept.

Support vendor relationships with Microsoft and Varonis.

Contribute to the development of repeatable service offerings.

Data Risk and Data Readiness Assessments:

Lead end-to-end data risk assessments across customer environments.

Deliver data readiness assessments for initiatives like Microsoft 365 Copilot.

Configure assessment tooling, including Microsoft Purview and Varonis.

Translate technical findings into executive-ready reporting.

Project Delivery and Implementation:

Lead the design, build, and rollout of data security and governance solutions.

Implement Microsoft Purview and Varonis capabilities.

Define target-state architecture and operational runbooks.

Work alongside project managers to ensure quality and timelines.

Practice Development and Technical Leadership:

Act as a mentor for junior and mid-level consultants.

Maintain and improve internal templates and delivery accelerators.

Contribute to thought leadership activities.

Pay: ₹468,000.00 - ₹1,790,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Chennai, Tamil Nadu
