Job Description

Role Description

L2 Protocol, VLAN, bridge, EtherChannel, L3 Routing Protocol, IPv4 and IPv6, L3 Forwarding, NAT
TCP/IP, IPv4, and IPv6 protocols; understanding of Layer 4 and Layer 7 load balancing concepts
Experience testing load balancing methods
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python) for automated test scripting;
Experience in software test planning, documentation and process improvement
Experience of Stress, Performance, System testing, Manual testing and Automation testing
L4-L7 protocols ( TCP, UDP, HTTP,HTTPs, DNS-UDP/DNS-TCP, GSLB, Clustering, VRRP,) Virtualization ESXi, Cockpit
Experience on Application Security Testing using Web Application Firewall (WAF), DNS Application Firewall (DAF) NG-WAF
Exposure to large scale distributed system testing
Must possess good written and verbal communication skills
Good familiarity with Linux (like) operating system
Proven experience in improving methods and metrics
Good knowledge on Defect Tracking & Management Tools
Traffic generator tools: preferred are IXIA,

Technical Skills

Skills Requirements:

Strong understanding of testing methodologies and automation frameworks.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, and Shell.
Expertise in network protocols and network testing tools.
Experience in automation testing of networking products.
Must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Must understand the company's long-term vision and align with it.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members, ensuring the successful completion of tasks, and promoting a positive work environment that fosters collaboration and productivity, taking responsibility of the whole team.

Qualifications

4-6 years of work experience in relevant field
B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech or MCA degree from a reputed university. Computer science background is preferred
