Job Description

Maintaining and expanding functionality of database structures (SQL) Developing LabVIEW/C# applications alongside other team members Creating and revising software documentation Analyzing production requirements and proposing software related solutions Designing and executing application test plans Maintaining SVN/GIT repositories Following company standard good coding practices To be successful, you will need to have: Vast knowledge about database structure design and maintenance, processing big data sets and maintaining manufacturing database, backed by at least 2 years of experience Experience in industrial application development using LabVIEW (CLD/CLA certification would be beneficial) Practical knowledge of standard device communication protocols like RS232, TCP/IP, GPiB Comprehension of commonly used software architectures Firm understanding of software development process Familiarity with source control methodologies (SVN/GIT) Willingness to expand your coding skillset and to follow other developers guidance as well as to share knowledge with others Good communication skills Ability to use English at a communicative level High level of self-organization Willingness to travel (minimal) It would be considered an advantage if you have: Development skills using C/C#/Python Web interface development skills Experience in using Jira Understanding of optical switching engineering
