Senior SEO & AEO Strategist (Analytics and Conversion)

About the role
Elite SEO Company, full-service marketing agency with offices in Toronto, Manila, and Pune. We're hiring a senior SEO and answer engine optimization specialist to work alongside our SEO Manager and team. You'll be the analytical brain behind our client work: turning data from multiple sources into clear priorities, tasks, and client-ready insights. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, but you'll direct work across SEO, content, design, and development through influence and good analysis.

What you'll do

• Analyze performance across GA4, Google Search Console, LLM tools, Google Business Profile, rank tracking, call tracking, CRM, and ad platform data, and find the story behind the numbers.
• Turn findings into specific, prioritized tasks for SEO, content, and development teams, with the expected impact and a clear owner for each.
• Diagnose technical, on-page, local, and content issues that limit visibility, and define the fix.
• Build and refine strategy for local and national SEO, and for visibility in AI-driven search (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and similar).
• Review landing pages, service pages, and site layouts for conversion performance, and give design and development teams concrete recommendations (structure, messaging hierarchy, CTAs, forms, speed, UX).
• Build and support accurate, readable dashboards (Looker Studio or similar) and support client meetings with data, insights, and recommendations you can defend.
• Track the changing search and AI landscape and bring tested ideas back to the team.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years in SEO, with proven results in both local and national search.
• Hands-on experience with AEO/GEO: you can explain what influences AI citations and visibility, and how you've measured it.
• Strong analytics skills, including GA4 event and conversion setup, attribution limits, and reconciling data that doesn't agree across sources.
• A working understanding of CRO and page layout, enough to critique a page and brief a designer or developer without hand-holding.
• Agency experience managing multiple client accounts is strongly preferred.
• Nice to have: technical SEO depth (crawling, schema, Core Web Vitals, JavaScript rendering), WordPress/Elementor familiarity, HubSpot or Airtable experience.

How we work
You'll collaborate daily with our SEO Manager, SEO specialists, content writers, designers, and developers, with some overlap with US time zones for client meetings. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
