Job Description

Main Purpose: We are looking for an accomplished QA lead with extensive experience in managing testing activities to enable the delivery of complex software development projects. An ideal candidate would be responsible for driving QA deliverables in partnership with vendor teams, make quick decisions and provide practical solutions for challenging problems. Demonstrates strong ability to think through the requirements from a business user point of view and work in a fast paced environment under tight deadlines. The candidate will collaborate with various stake holders across IT and business user groups for complex end-to-end trading platform. Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities: Technical skills and Expertise 12+ years of experience in managing End to End quality assurance for large scale enterprise projects 5+ years of experience in working with Murex Product and Derivatives Domain Sound understanding of Database, SQL and UNIX system Hands on experience in Automation using standard / custom toolset (including MXTEST) Strong Techno-Functional expertise to drive testing efficiency and optimization Good to have knowledge and hands on experience on MX CONFIG / MX RTP Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education Having strong background in Commodity Trading, Capital Market, Derivatives, Finance or Banking Minimum 2-3 years of experience working with outsourced vendor partners in India is BIG plus Key Responsibilities: Owning E2E Testing activities including Functional, Integration, Automation, Performance Testing, etc. Proficient in creating and reviewing all key test artefacts – Test Plan, Test Strategy, Test Metrics, etc. Lead efforts to enhance and work towards making the testing process more efficient Build and enrich functional and domain knowledge of QA Team Collaborate with internal and external 3rd party partner project teams in multiple different locations Demonstrate and maintain strong working relations with IT and Business teams. Manage end to end testing activities for major implementations / upgrades and BAU releases Able to drive Regression Automation through 3rd party Automation tools or using custom tools Work with vendor partners to drive testing activities Monitor progress of all test deliverables and manage status reporting Work in Challenging and Fast track delivery environment Exercise proven analytical and written/oral communication skills Key Competencies : Strong oral and written communications with strong inter-personal skills to collaborate with vendor teams and global IT owners with attention to micro level details. Must be acclimatized working and dealing with client managers / senior management Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Capable of working in groups as well as independently Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information Team player with an enthusiastic approach to fresh challenges Key Relationships and Department Overview: Department – TGS Trading IT is responsible for front-to-back delivery of various applications that enable Trafigura’s Oil & Metal’s trading.
