Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer Location: [Insert Location] Department: Quality Assurance Reports To: QA Manager / Director of Quality Job Type: Full-Time Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to lead quality assurance efforts across product lifecycles. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: # Inspection of raw materials, BOP Parts conformity with drawings, material test certificates of all incoming materials. # To verify Chemical, mechanical testing from NABL Lab with testing requirement mentioned in drawing & specification. #Inspection of CNC, VMC machining part, 2D height gauge, Vernier, Micrometer, profile projector, Hardness & roughness Testing and other mechanical Testing on UTM associated with these parts. #Responsible for process Inspection & monitoring of welding-process and related documents #Preparation of Control Plan, quality Plan, ITP, QAP, verify the Inspection records are completed as per customer requirements #Resolution of problem through corrective preventive action, 8D, CAPA sheet #Maintaining and updating Quality system documentation perform Internal Audit #Plan and Perform internal calibration of inhouse gauges, ensure the Instrument calibration is done on time and maintain record. #Prepare the complete lay-out inspection of products as per 2d drawing #First off, Inprocess Inspection and Last piece inspection #Having Good knowledge of CNC, VMC machining product & process with their Inspection through 2D height gauge, Vernier, Micrometer, profile projector, Hardness, Roughness Testing, contour and other mechanical Testing associated with these parts. #Preferred candidates possess Internal Auditor Certification in ISO 9001, IATF 16949 #Knowledege of various standard process Like welding, Machining, Heat treatment, Plating/Phosphating and painting. #Knowledge of CMM inspection will be an added advantage #Good Understanding of Machining, Fabrication & Assembly drawing, GD&T. #Diploma/B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering. #5-8 years of experience in a Quality Assurance environment #Working knowledge of CNC machining parts and metal Heavy Industrial fabrication is preferred. #Experience from Railway, Defence product Inspection, Automotive Product. #Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, power point and ERP systems #Excellent written and verbal communication skill Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per year Schedule: Day shift Morning shift Supplemental Pay: Yearly bonus Ability to commute/relocate: Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: ISO 9001: 5 years (Required) IATF 16949: 5 years (Required) CNC MACHINE: 5 years (Required) VMC MACHINE: 5 years (Required) HIGH FABRICATION INDUSTRY: 5 years (Required) 8D: 5 years (Required) CAPA SHEET: 5 years (Required) Work Location: In person
