Job Title: Business Development Manager (Food Industry) Location: [Knowledge park - 3, Greater noida] Department: Sales & Business Development EXPERIENCE: 5 to 8 year Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our market presence in the food industry. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in B2B food sales, a deep understanding of food distribution and supply chains, and strong relationships across HORECA, retail, or foodservice channels. Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities in domestic and/or international markets. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients including retailers, distributors, wholesalers, and institutional buyers (HORECA). Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and new product opportunities. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets. Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategy, and deal closure with customers. Collaborate with marketing and product development teams for new product launches and promotional campaigns. Monitor performance metrics and prepare regular reports on sales forecasts and business performance. Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings. Key Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Food Technology, Marketing, or related field. 5+ years of experience in business development or sales within the food industry. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Strong network within the foodservice, retail, or manufacturing sectors. Knowledge of food safety regulations, supply chain dynamics, and procurement processes. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office suite. Willingness to travel as required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with export/import of food products. Knowledge of specialty food categories (organic, gourmet, frozen, etc.). Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
