Overview This Product Analyst is responsible for the release planning, creating business and technical requirements, running the sprints, and managing projects. The role requires an in-depth understanding of the products and features, resource allocation, time management and risks’ evaluation. Responsibilities Work with the PM and stakeholders to continue to refine business requirements. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and distinguish user requests from the underlying needs. Collaborate with external and internal customers to analyse information needs and functional requirements to deliver the following artifacts: BRD, use cases, and scenarios; collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to develop product specification documents, business architecture and state transition, solution design etc. Interpret requirements and develop functional and technical specifications Create user stories and Plan software releases. Elicit requirements using interviews, focus groups, document analysis, requirements workshops, workflow definitions, use cases, scenarios based on Edifecs Product Specifications. Collaborate effectively with the teams to prioritize features, plan sprints and run sprint ceremonies Effectively communicate including raising risks and mitigations plans including preparing status reports. Track customers’ bugs. Communicate with customers on Requirement Changes and Release notifications. Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously. Understand and apply company policies and procedures. Qualifications Good understanding of the U.S. Healthcare industry and value-based care. Strong knowledge on claim processing, Risk adjustment, Medicare, Medicaid and ACA lines of business, EDI and HIPAA X12 837transactions. Strong analytical and product management skills required. Robust data analysis skills with the ability to answer analytical questions using a combination of business acumen and technical skills. Strong proficiency in Excel, and intermediate level SQL skills. Experience in Business Intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau, Looker. In-depth experience in Project management tools like Jira, Gitlab Ultimate, Monday.com Deep understanding of Agile principles and values, and Experience working in Agile frameworks like Scrum. Ability to document product features and functionalities by analyzing various resources and collaborating with stakeholders. Ability to define use case scenarios and develop state transition diagrams. Experience in interpreting requirements and developing functional specifications Experience in testing, and user acceptance test planning for large enterprise systems Demonstrated ability to understand and apply company policies and procedures. BS or MS Computer Sciences. MBA preferred; Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP) and/or Healthcare (AHM 250) is a plus. 5-7 years’ experience as a business analyst/ Systems Analyst.
