Senior Manager - New Product Development (Machine Shop)

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and manage the NPD process for machining-based products, including planning, design, prototype development, testing, and refinement.
• Collaborate with design engineers, R&D, and other stakeholders to ensure that new products meet customer specifications and industry standards.
• Oversee the creation and validation of product design documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure that new products are manufactural, cost-effective, and scalable, working closely with production and supply chain teams.
• Develops a project plan with clear milestones and deadlines to ensure the product is delivered on time and within budget.
• Coordinate the development and testing of prototypes, including identifying and resolving design or production issues.
• Tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) and customer feedback post-launch to evaluate the success of the product.
