Main KRA

1. Minimize the machine breakdown hours in line with the objective set
2. Control & monitor the mean time between failures.
3. Control & monitor mean time of repairs.
4. Energy saving and conservation.

Responsibility Summary

1. Supervise maintenance activities to ensure that disruption to production is minimized.
2. Make daily assignments for the maintenance team.
3. Plans the yearly preventive maintenance activities
4. Plan and manage all repair and installation activities.
5. Perform troubleshooting to solve the breakdowns
6. Ensure the facility satisfies all industry regulations
7. Monitor cost of break down Maintenance & initiate actions to reduce it
8. Control and monitor the mean time of repairs, frequency of breakdowns and the maintenance budget

Other Responsibilities

1. Identify critical machine and TPM implementation.
2. Give all required technical support of the Kaizens and Poka Yoke proposed and initiated.
3. Adhere to the Preventive Maintenance Plan
4. Control and monitor the Energy Cost wrt to Sales Percentage.
5. Minimize part rejections due to machine breakdowns.
6. Lead machine shifting/relocations/machine layout changes as per plan.

Authorities

1. Take appropriate actions for any Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Discipline issues in line with the policies and practices in line with the managements guidelines and objective set.
2. Approve Leaves of the direct reportees.
3. Take decision for reward and recognition in line with guidelines with approval of Operation Manager.
4. Approve KRAs /objectives of the Team Members.
5. Performance review of the Team Members in line with the guidelines
6. Authority to plan preventive maintenance.

Accountability

1. Increased machine breakdowns
2. Unsafe machine conditions
3. Non-adherence to safety guidelines by the team
4. Energy Wastage
