Job Summary

Suma Shilp is looking for a senior liaison and statutory approvals professional to independently manage end-to-end approvals for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments within PMC and PMRDA jurisdictions. The role requires strong regulatory knowledge, established authority relationships, technical understanding of development proposals, and a consistent record of securing timely approvals.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the complete statutory approvals lifecycle, from project feasibility and planning permissions through construction-stage approvals, completion certification, and occupancy approvals.
• Coordinate with PMC, PMRDA, and other relevant government or statutory authorities to obtain approvals, NOCs, sanctions, and clearances.
• Review architectural drawings, area statements, FSI calculations, scrutiny observations, sanction conditions, and supporting approval documents.
• Interpret and apply applicable Development Control and Promotion Regulations to live project situations.
• Track submissions, queries, hearings, commitments, and approval timelines to minimize project delays.
• Identify lawful planning opportunities that improve project potential while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of submissions, approvals, correspondence, conditions, and renewals.

Candidate Profile

• 1215 years of relevant experience in liaisoning and statutory approvals within the Pune real estate market.
• Demonstrated experience obtaining approvals for sizeable residential and commercial developments under PMC and PMRDA.
• Strong working knowledge of planning permissions, building sanctions, NOCs, completion certificates, and occupancy certificates.
• Established professional relationships across the approvals ecosystem, with the confidence to engage senior officials.
• Ability to read and review technical drawings, regulatory calculations, scrutiny comments, and sanction conditions.
• Strong follow-up, negotiation, documentation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
