About the Role

Sterimed Group is looking for an experienced international business leader to build and grow its own medical device brand across overseas markets.

This is a leadership role with strategic and operational ownership of assigned international markets. The selected candidate will be responsible for shaping market-entry strategy, developing distributor networks, strengthening brand positioning, and driving revenue growth.

This role is not limited to international sales. It requires a professional who can build the brand in overseas markets, understand local customer needs, develop the right distribution partnerships, and ensure that products are positioned competitively.

What You Will Own

• Overseas growth strategy for Sterimed Group’s own medical device brand.
• Market prioritisation, entry sequence, pricing, positioning, and partner model.
• Distributor, dealer, and strategic-partner development across target markets.
• Brand visibility, product positioning, and competitive presence in international markets.
• Lead generation and conversion through exhibitions, digital outreach, B2B platforms, and networking.
• Team building and consistent lead conversion.
• OEM and private-label business development as an additional growth avenue.

Key Responsibilities

International Strategy & Market Expansion

• Drive the overseas growth of the company’s own medical device brand, owning the strategy, markets, and results.
• Shape the overseas expansion strategy, including decisions on which markets to enter, the order of entry, pricing, positioning, and partner model.
• Work directly with the promoters and senior management.

Distributor & Partner Development

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard distributors, dealers, and strategic partners.
• Negotiate commercial terms, agreements, and exclusivity arrangements.
• Build strong distributor networks to support market expansion.

Brand, Marketing & Lead Generation

• Build the brand in overseas markets and ensure products are positioned competitively.
• Understand local customer needs and translate them into effective market and product positioning.
• Plan the exhibition and lead-generation strategy, combining trade shows, digital outreach, B2B platforms, and networking.
• Build a team that converts leads consistently.

Regulatory & Market Readiness

• Drive product registrations with the regulatory team to ensure the brand is market-ready ahead of expansion plans.

Travel & Stakeholder Engagement

• Travel overseas to meet distributors, hospitals, and key opinion leaders, and represent the brand.

Business Growth

• Develop OEM and private-label business as an additional growth avenue.

• 10+ years of experience in medical device exports and international business.
• Proven ability to open new markets and appoint distributors.
• Experience in or exposure to brand building, beyond trading.
• Working knowledge of international regulatory frameworks and export documentation.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to build independently in the absence of an established structure.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
