Key responsibilities:

• Should-Cost Modelling & Cost Analytics:

  Develop clean-sheet cost models, cost breakdowns, price estimations, supplier cost benchmarking, cost-driver analysis, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models to support procurement negotiations and cost optimization.

• Supplier Financial Risk Assessment:

  Evaluate supplier financial health through financial statement analysis, profitability, liquidity and financial risk scoring.

• Commodity Market Intelligence & Forecasting:

  Analyze commodity price trends, raw material and feedstock movements, supply-demand dynamics, macroeconomic factors, and develop price forecasts to support procurement decisions.

• Procurement Strategy & Sourcing Analytics:

  Identify cost-saving opportunities, evaluate sourcing alternatives, assess supplier competitiveness, and provide data-driven recommendations for strategic procurement decisions.

• Procurement Data Analytics

  : Analyze SAP procurement data, purchasing trends, price variances, supplier spend, and historical pricing to identify opportunities and improve procurement performance.

• Market & Financial Intelligence

  : Leverage platforms such as ICIS, Bloomberg, Refinitiv (LSEG), and other market databases for commodity research, financial analysis, benchmarking, and industry intelligence.

• Advanced Analytics & Automation

  : Utilize Databricks, Python, SQL, Excel, and Power BI for data analysis, predictive modelling, forecasting, dashboard development, and reporting automation.

• Business Insights & Reporting:

  Develop actionable analytical reports, market outlooks, supplier risk assessments, and presentations to support procurement planning and management decision-making.

• AI-Powered Business Intelligence

  : Leverage AI chatbots and generative AI tools for market research, competitive intelligence, data analysis, insight generation, and enhanced procurement decision-making.

Job Requirements

Educational Qualification:

 Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Business Analytics or other related fields preferably with an MBA.

Experience:

2 - 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical, or manufacturing industry is preferred
