Manage day-to-day library operations, cataloguing, and circulation of books.
Maintain and update library inventory, digital records, and classification systems.
Guide students in selecting age-appropriate books and using library resources.
Support teachers by providing relevant learning materials and research resources.
Organise reading programs, book clubs, author interactions, and literacy events.
Ensure a quiet, safe, and welcoming environment for students.
Train and supervise library assistants (if applicable).
Implement digital library tools and promote e-resources.
Maintain library policies, budgeting, and procurement processes.
Bachelors/Masters degree in Library Science (B.Li.Sc / M.Li.Sc) – mandatory.
Minimum 3–5 years of library experience, preferably in a school setting.
Good knowledge of cataloguing, classification systems, and digital library tools.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Passion for books, reading, and student engagement.
