Senior Lead Engineer

• System Architecture & Design: Lead the design, development, and scaling of robust, high-performance distributed systems and applications using Java, Spring Boot, Python, Node.js, and MySQL.
• Technical Execution: Own projects from architecture through deployment, ensuring code quality, security, reliability, and scalability. Build and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot, develop supporting services and automation in Python, build Node.js services and integrations, and implement reliable data access using MySQL.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Guide, coach, and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Code Reviews & Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough code reviews, establish automated testing practices, improve code quality, and reduce technical debt across application and database layers.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers, UX designers, and executive stakeholders to define technical roadmaps, scope requirements, and manage trade-offs.
• Problem Solving: Diagnose complex system failures, performance bottlenecks, database issues, and architectural roadblocks, implementing timely and lasting fixes.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 5+ years of professional software/engineering development experience, with at least 2–3 years in a technical lead, mentorship, or senior contributor capacity.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Core Technical Stack:
• Mandatory: Strong proficiency in Java and hands-on experience developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining production-grade applications and services.
• Mandatory: Practical experience with Spring Boot for building and maintaining REST APIs, backend services, microservices, dependency injection, configuration, and application testing. Hands-on experience with Node.js for backend development, asynchronous processing, and service integrations is also required.
• Mandatory: Strong working knowledge of MySQL, including schema design, SQL queries, joins, indexing, query optimization, transactions, and data integrity. Ability to troubleshoot database performance in production environments.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), microservices architecture, and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with version control, modern developer tools, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment practices.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
