Job Title: Senior Java Springboot Developer

Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Java Spring Boot Developer to build and maintain scalable backend applications, develop banking integrations and drive the delivery of key product modules. The candidate will work closely with the CTO and technology team, contribute to backend architecture, establish development standards and mentor junior developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain REST APIs, microservices and integrations with banks and external systems.
- Contribute to backend architecture, technical decisions and development standards.
- Lead code reviews, ensure code quality and mentor junior developers.
- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance and improve system reliability.
- Work with relational databases, SQL and data modelling.
- Maintain technical documentation for APIs, integrations, architecture and backend modules.
- Implement unit testing, integration testing and secure coding practices.
- Collaborate with the technology team on AWS deployments, monitoring and scalability.
Skills Required:
- Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices and API integrations.
- Experience with relational databases, SQL and query optimisation.
- Proficiency in Git, debugging, testing and code review practices.
- Knowledge of application performance optimization and production troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with AWS and cloud-based application deployments.
- Ability to make technical decisions, solve complex problems and guide junior developers.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in fintech, banking, payments or financial services.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs.
- Familiarity with AWS, Docker or CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of microservices and secure coding practices.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,300,000.00 per year
