We are looking for a Senior ERPNext / Frappe Developer who understands business operations, builds practical solutions and can lead a development team. You will work on custom development across B2B e-commerce, warehouse automation, manufacturing and related business processes.

We value sound judgment, clear thinking and the ability to understand the actual business problem before writing code. You should be able to question an unclear requirement, identify process gaps and recommend a solution that users can operate easily.
Key responsibilities
- Understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, workflows and maintainable ERPNext / Frappe solutions.
- Develop custom apps, DocTypes, reports, dashboards, workflows, permissions and integrations.
- Build and improve processes covering e-commerce, purchasing, inventory, warehouse operations, manufacturing, sales and fulfilment.
- Develop warehouse automation features such as barcode scanning, picking, packing, putaway, stock transfers and shipment tracking.
- Integrate ERPNext with webstores, mobile applications, payment gateways, logistics providers and other external systems.
- Lead the development team through task planning, technical guidance, code reviews and delivery management.
- Work directly with business and operations teams to troubleshoot issues, improve usability and support adoption.
- Maintain application performance, data integrity, security and upgrade compatibility.
- Use AI tools effectively for development, debugging, documentation and testing, while reviewing and validating their output.
Required technical skills
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience developing and customising ERPNext / Frappe.
- Strong knowledge of Python, JavaScript, SQL, MariaDB/MySQL, HTML and CSS.
- Strong understanding of the Frappe framework, including its document lifecycle, hooks, background jobs, scheduler, permissions and APIs.
- Experience building custom Frappe apps and REST API integrations.
- Good understanding of ERPNext modules such as Selling, Buying, Stock, Manufacturing and Accounts, including their impact on business transactions.
- Experience with Git, Linux, deployment, migrations, debugging and database query optimisation.
- Ability to design reliable integrations with validation, error handling, retries and duplicate prevention.
Business understanding and leadership
- Understand end-to-end business processes and the relationship between transactions, stock and accounting.
- Evaluate when to use standard ERPNext functionality and when custom development is justified.
- Take ownership from requirement discussion through development, deployment and user acceptance.
- Explain technical decisions clearly to business users.
- Guide developers, set coding standards and manage priorities.
- Anticipate operational exceptions and build practical controls.
- Comfortable working with AI tools and keen to use them thoughtfully and responsibly.
Preferred experience
- B2B or B2C e-commerce and high-volume order processing.
- Multi-warehouse operations, barcode systems and warehouse automation.
- Manufacturing workflows, BOMs, work orders and material movement.
- React / Next.js integrations with ERPNext.
- Frappe Cloud, ERPNext v15 or later, and custom app maintenance across upgrades.
- Indian business requirements, including GST and logistics integrations.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
