Senior Engineer - BT Radio FW

As an adaptable, enthusiastic, and reliable individual, you have the opportunity to join the BDC BT radio firmware team in Bangalore. The team collaborates closely with the BT stack, Radio VI, Systems, and Characterization team across different locations to develop complex radio/modem/calibration features for the company's Connectivity products. Working within this team will expose you to a wide range of engineering disciplines, from higher layer software to low-level hardware. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop radio/modem features/calibrations for Bluetooth products using C programming language - Analyze and support bug fixes to meet customer and internal KPIs - Communicate status, bugs, and issues to leads - Perform software and hardware debugging of RF and protocol testing issues - Collaborate with colleagues to optimize solutions - Work with team leads to plan development, testing, and maintenance tasks Qualification Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Electronics engineering from an internationally recognized institution - 3-6 years of experience in developing embedded radio control low-level firmware in C programming language - Master's Degree in Electronics engineering from an internationally recognized institution - Experience and familiarity with Bluetooth Radio and PHY specifications and KPI requirements Additional Company Details: The team plays a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge features for the company's Connectivity products. Your principal duties and responsibilities will include: - Proficiency in C programming skills and extensive embedded development experience - Strong working knowledge and a keen interest in Radio fundamentals - Understanding of Bluetooth or WiFi radio/PHY concepts is advantageous - Knowledge of signal processing and radio communication - Familiarity with electronic hardware and schematics interpretation - Experience with RF lab equipment such as Spectrum analyzers, vector signal generators, and Bluetooth testers - Understanding of RF metrics - Proficiency in Python scripting is a plus - Self-motivated, adaptable team player - Comfortable with taking responsibility for deliverables and working collaboratively with the team,
