• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using

  ASP.NET 4.x, C#, .NET Framework, JavaScript, WCF, and ASMX Web Services

  .
• Own end-to-end delivery and support of

  production-critical integration solutions

  and business applications.
• Build and support integrations using

  REST APIs, SOAP services, XML/XSD, JSON, EDI, SFTP, and Message Queue technologies

• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot

  SQL Server databases

  , including T-SQL queries, stored procedures, indexing strategies, and execution plan analysis.
• Investigate and resolve application performance issues through

  profiling, memory analysis, thread analysis, and APM tools

• Monitor application health using

  logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and observability frameworks

  to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Perform root cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventive measures to improve system stability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and end users to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Communicate technical options, risks, and recommendations in clear, business-friendly language.
• Leverage

  AI-assisted development tools

  such as

  GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Claude Code

  for coding, testing, debugging, code reviews, and documentation while ensuring accuracy through proper validation.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce development best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, integration specifications, support guides, and architecture documents.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership during design, development, and troubleshooting activities.
• Participate in deployment planning, release management, and post-production support activities.
• Work closely with QA teams to ensure comprehensive testing, defect resolution, and successful project delivery.

Preferred candidate profile

Must-have skills • 812 years of software development, including senior ownership of production systems. • Strong ASP.NET (4.x) and C# on the .NET Framework: web services (ASMX/WCF), Windows services and JavaScript. • Integration formats and protocols: REST, SOAP, XML/XSD, JSON, EDI, SFTP and message queues. • SQL Server: T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, execution plans, locking and blocking. • Finding and fixing performance problems with profilers, APM tools, thread and memory analysis. • Proficient in AI-assisted development (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) for coding, reviews, testing, debugging and documentation, with judgement on verifying AI output. Mandatory. • Monitoring and observability for integrations: logging, metrics, tracing, alerting. • Turning user problems into clear technical options, explained in plain language.
