Cloud Infrastructure & Architecture
- Design scalable, secure, multi-tenant cloud infrastructure.
- Work with AWS, Google Cloud, Vercel, and other hosting platforms.
- Implement infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or OpenTofu.
- Optimize cloud costs, resource allocation, and application performance.
- Architect infrastructure that supports hundreds to thousands of customer websites.
2. Hosting Platform Development
- Design the infrastructure and API integration layer for a unified hosting management platform.
- Integrate cloud provider APIs for automated deployment and management.
- Build or support automated website provisioning, domain configuration, SSL certificates, backups, and monitoring.
- Implement role-based access controls for agencies, designers, and their customers.
- Collaborate with frontend and backend developers building the hosting dashboard.
3. DevOps & Automation
- Build CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
- Implement Docker-based deployment workflows.
- Automate server setup, deployment, configuration, and maintenance.
- Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Establish deployment rollback and disaster recovery procedures.
4. Security, Monitoring & Reliability
- Implement IAM, network security, secrets management, and tenant isolation.
- Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Manage backup policies and regularly test restoration procedures.
- Improve uptime, performance, incident response, and infrastructure resilience.
- Establish operational documentation and standard procedures.
5. Technical Leadership
- Evaluate hosting technologies and cloud service providers.
- Recommend appropriate architecture based on reliability, cost, and scalability.
- Conduct technical reviews and troubleshoot complex infrastructure problems.
- Help recruit and guide junior cloud operations and DevOps engineers as the platform grows.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, and networking.
- Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with Vercel, particularly Next.js deployments and project/domain management.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or OpenTofu.
- CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- Scripting and automation using Python and Bash.
- DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, CDN, reverse proxies, and load balancing.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or cloud-native equivalents.
- Understanding of multi-tenant platforms, API integrations, and cloud security.
Good to Have
- Experience with cPanel, WHM, Plesk, CloudLinux, or Cloudways.
- Experience building hosting automation or cloud management platforms.
- Familiarity with hosting billing and provisioning systems such as WHMCS.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, where operationally justified.
- Experience with Cloudflare APIs.
- Experience with managed WordPress hosting and website migrations.
- Familiarity with FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
- Previous experience with a hosting company, managed service provider, or SaaS platform.

- Deploy WordPress, Next.js, PHP, Python, and other applications.
- Manage multiple customer websites from one dashboard.
- Connect and manage supported cloud hosting providers.
- Configure domains, DNS, SSL, backups, and monitoring.
- Control access for their teams and customers.
- Manage hosting resources without needing direct access to complex cloud consoles.
This is a platform engineering and infrastructure-building role, not a traditional server maintenance or website development position.Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who:
