Senior Audit Assistant

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Audit Planning & Execution Plan, organize, and execute audits as per the annual audit plan. Assess business risks and develop audit programs to test internal controls. Conduct fieldwork including walkthroughs, sample testing, and control evaluations. Risk & Compliance Evaluate risk management practices and internal control systems. Identify control deficiencies and recommend corrective actions. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Reporting & Documentation Prepare clear, concise, and well-documented audit reports. Present findings to management and recommend practical solutions. Track the implementation of audit recommendations. Team Supervision & Collaboration Guide and supervise junior auditors in audit execution. Review working papers for completeness and accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams during audit reviews. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve audit processes and risk management. Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices. Participate in special investigations or ad-hoc assignments as required.
