Senior Associate Data Engineer

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• Advanced SQL:

  Strong proficiency in complex SQL queries, stored procedures, query optimization, performance tuning, and database management.

• Python:

  Hands-on experience in Python for data processing, data validation, automation, scripting, and data transformation.

• ETL & Data Warehousing:

  Strong understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, relational database architecture, and hands-on experience with SQL Server or comparable relational databases.

• Cloud Technologies:

  Working knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS (EC2, RDS, CloudWatch).

• Data Modeling & Architecture:

  Expertise in relational data modeling, schema design, database design, and scalable data pipeline architecture.

• Solution Design:

  Ability to independently scope requirements, design technical solutions, and make architecture decisions in ambiguous environments.

• Version Control & CI/CD:

  Experience with Git, CI/CD workflows, and preferably GitLab.

• Project & Stakeholder Management:

  Experience coordinating projects, managing resources, prioritizing tasks, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

• Technical Leadership:

  Ability to mentor junior team members, conduct quality reviews, and ensure accuracy of technical deliverables.

• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:

  Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, attention to detail, and commitment to data quality.

• Organizational Skills:

  Strong planning, prioritization, time management, communication, and adaptability.

Good-to-Have Skills (Not Mandatory)

• Experience in SaaS domain, financial metrics, or P&L analysis.
• Exposure to benchmarking, cohort analysis, or survey-based datasets.
• Familiarity with PHP, JavaScript, or React.js for full-stack development.
• Exposure to LLM integration or API integration.
