Senior Advisor - Data Engineering

Role Overview: As a Senior Data Engineering Advisor at Dell Technologies in Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in developing technical tools and programs to automate data management processes, integrating medium to large structured data sets. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with Data Scientists, Architects, and Businesses to design strategic projects and enhance complex processes. You will have the opportunity to design and build analytics solutions, develop web applications for self-service delivery of analytics, and work on machine learning algorithms to support applications. Key Responsibilities: - Design and build analytics solutions to derive transformative insights from large data sets. - Develop web applications for self-service delivery of analytics. - Create APIs, database objects, machine learning algorithms, and server-side code to support applications. - Collaborate with team members to integrate new components and features into the current application ecosystem. - Stay updated on industry trends to leverage new technologies and methodologies for the solution stack. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or related field with 8 to 12 years of experience in utilizing data technologies for business intelligence solutions. - Excellent communication and presentation skills to explain big data platforms and solution designs to technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Proficiency in key data engineering technologies, including Big Data Tools, Cloud Services, and Object-Oriented or Object Function Scripting Languages. - Familiarity with statistics and machine learning concepts. - Expertise in writing, tuning, and debugging performant SQL. - Experience with technologies such as C#, .Net, HTML5, JavaScript, SQL Server, TeraData, Hadoop, Spark, and R. - Ability to create rich web interfaces using a modern client-side framework. - Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and their practical application in real-world scenarios.
