Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee and manage the financial operations of our MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of accounting and financial management, specifically in the construction industry. Responsibilities: Execute the accounting team to ensure smooth financial operations. Manage the payable, receivable, project-specific financial transactions. Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, budgets, and reports. Monitor project costs, budgets, and profitability. Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements. Lead the preparation and filing of tax returns and manage audits. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets. Liaise with external stakeholders such as banks, auditors, and tax consultants. Provide financial insights to support project planning and management decisions. Handle payroll processing and ensure compliance with labor laws. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/ICWA qualification is a plus). 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction or MEP sector. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and advanced MS Excel skills. Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and Indian financial regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
