About the job This position is needed to manage the team of machine learning engineers of the Growth & User Intelligence team and closely partner with Product & Engineering teams to execute the roadmap for Twilio s AI/ML products and services. This position is needed to build a trusted platform that ensures all communication on Twilio is wanted, safe, and compliant. You ll develop scalable, high-throughput systems to detect and stop user, messaging, and voice abuse in real time, and create tooling that powers rich insights for our Traffic Intelligence operations teams. Your work will enable Twilio to lead the industry in trusted communications and stay ahead of emerging fraud and compliance challenges. Responsibilities In this role, you ll: Collaborate with a small, high-impact, and diverse team to solve complex distributed systems challenges. Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure and services that meet Twilio s performance and reliability standards. Own and operate your team s services in a production environment using a DevOps model, with a focus on quality through unit, integration, and load testing.
