YOUR IMPACT
You will serve as a frontline technical authority safeguarding McKinsey’s global digital ecosystem.
You will actively shrink the firm’s attack surface across on-premises, cloud, AI, and endpoint environments by translating complex cyber telemetry into actionable business defense.
Operating with high autonomy within the Product & Platform Security group, you will drive qwn the lifecycle of our vulnerability management platforms—optimizing scan coverage, fine-tuning configurations, and integrating systems across cloud infrastructure, containers, and modern AI workloads.
You will synthesize threat intelligence and vulnerability data using frameworks such as NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, and the Cyber Kill Chain to contextualize residual risk, prioritize remediation, and advise business stakeholders.
You will be involved in architect automation & tooling design and build resilient API integrations and automations that streamline asset inventory, vulnerability prioritization, and operational efficiency.
You will partner globally with engineering, product leads, and offensive security teams (Red Team, Threat Intel, Pen Testing) to embed security-by-design into everyday system delivery.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information security or a related field, or equivalent work experience, required
  • Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CEH or SANS/GIAC preferred
  • 5+ years in enterprise security/vulnerability management and relevant technical degrees or equivalent practical experience
  • Advanced, hands-on experience administering and integrating security solutions such as CSPM, KSPM, Vulnerability Management tools, SOAR tools, etc
  • Solid understanding of multiple technologies, including networking, server operating systems, application platforms and workstations, and cloud environments such as AWS, Azure & GCP
  • Working knowledge of container and Kubernetes security, with exposure to application security and secrets management a plus
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Wiz, Prisma AIRS, GitGuardian, Koi, or comparable tools is beneficial
  • Knowledge and experience leveraging/using AI tools and technologies MCPs, Cursor, Claude etc. to optimize and scale impact in work is a plus
  • Strong understanding of the Cyber Kill Chain, MITRE ATTACK, common attack methods and remediation approaches, with the ability to apply risk frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001 in practical ways
  • Experience building automation and integrations using APIs, with CI/CD experience a plus
