Job Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities:Patrolling and Monitoring:Regularly inspect and patrol assigned areas to deter crime, monitor for suspicious activity, and ensure the overall security of the property. Access Control:Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying identities and ensuring that only authorized personnel enter. Incident Response:Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies, ensuring the safety of personnel and property. Reporting:Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations, and submit reports as required. Surveillance:Utilize surveillance equipment (cameras, monitors, etc.) to monitor the premises and identify potential threats. Security Breaches:Investigate security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior, and take appropriate action to mitigate risks. Emergency Response:Provide assistance during emergencies, including directing people to safety, administering first aid, and coordinating with emergency services. Customer Service:Provide assistance and information to visitors and staff in a professional and courteous manner. Conflict Resolution:Handle potentially tense situations calmly and professionally, resolving conflicts and de-escalating confrontations. Knowledge of Laws and Regulations:Familiarize themselves with applicable laws and regulations related to security and safety. Skills and Qualifications:Communication Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting incidents and interacting with people. Observational Skills:Sharp observational skills to identify suspicious activity and potential threats. Physical Fitness:The ability to perform physical tasks, including patrolling on foot and responding to emergencies. Self-Defense and First Aid:Training in self-defense and first aid to handle emergency situations effectively. Problem-Solving:Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to handle a variety of situations. Teamwork:Ability to work effectively with other security personnel and staff. Computer Skills:Basic computer skills for logging incidents and accessing security systems. Confidentiality and Discretion:The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
