Summary:As a Senior Principal Engineer specializing in Azure Active Directory (Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID), you will lead the design, development, delivery, and support of highly scalable, secure, and reliable identity and access management (IAM) services. These services support millions of enterprise and consumer users globally. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, define technical vision, and ensure the continued growth and security of IAM capabilities.
Roles & Responsibilities:-Provide technical leadership and drive the architecture and design of core Azure AD / Entra ID services, including authentication, authorization, identity protection, and federation.-Lead large-scale, complex projects from inception to deployment, ensuring technical feasibility, security, scalability, and performance.-Influence and shape the future roadmap of Azure AD / Entra ID by identifying industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving customer needs.-Collaborate with product management, security, engineering, and program management teams to deliver secure and user-friendly identity solutions.-Mentor and guide senior engineers and architects across multiple teams.-Define and enforce best practices for security, scalability, code quality, and performance in distributed cloud services.-Represent Azure AD / Entra ID in internal and external forums, including customer engagements, conferences, and strategic partnerships.-Evaluate third-party technologies and tools for integration and innovation opportunities Professional & Technical Skills:
-Experience in software engineering, with experience leading large-scale distributed systems or cloud service development.-Deep expertise in identity and access management protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, WS-Federation, SSO, MFA).-Strong experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and security principles.-Proven track record of designing and delivering large-scale, secure, and highly available services.-Experience in authentication, authorization, and identity federation technologies.-Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.-Passion for mentoring and growing engineering teams.-Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Additional Information:- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) Operations.- This position is based at our Gurugram office.- A 15 years full time education is required. Qualification
