Role Purpose: To assist in the sourcing of components and services for the manufacture of SE Controls Products in India. The successful candidate will travel between our offices in the UK and Chennai India, in order to become a ‘subject matter expert’ in our processes, ensuring that the manufacturing processes align with the UK compliance requirements and standards. Preferred Qualifications/Experience: Experience of working in a manufacturing environment. Open to travel/spending equal time in UK and India. Confident Self-starter. High attention to detail. Procedure driven approach. The Key Responsibilities of this Role will be to: Source local (Indian) suppliers of components and services for local customisation/ assembly, using drawings, specifications and market research to establish options. Assembly and customisation of products following UK Standard Operating and Quality procedures. Manage inventory of components to ensure availability falls in line with local demands. Collection and delivery of components to/ from suppliers as required. Taking UK training and applying to India assembly.
